Neotek, established in 1983 and located in Memphis, TN is a leading global manufacturer and distributor of replacement parts in the automotive industry.
We currently have an opening for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in support of our North American sales and marketing activities for the automotive OES / OEM channel. This position will report to the Vice President of OEM/OES Sales. This position is Memphis based.
Responsible for the coordination of all sales activities between customers, purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and accounting.
Manage existing direct customer contact/relationship, and establish new relationships with prospective customers.
Act as intermediary between customer and all internal points of contact
Support program management and manufacturing functions for all launches.
Promote and educate current and potential customers on Neotek Automotive products and services.
Identify new opportunities within channel that are compatible with corporate goals and develop marketing strategies to obtain new business.
Participate in preparation of annual sales plan, monthly forecast and monthly activity reports.
BS or BA degree in Engineering (preferred), or related program. 3+ years experience as a Sales Engineer or as an Account Manager working at either Automotive OEM or Tier 1 Automotive supplier.
Detailed communication, teamwork, and the ability to work independently is imperative.
Computer proficient in MS Office programs, with a high skill level in excel.
