From our humble beginnings more than 5 decades ago, where we pioneered advances in head light aimers for automotive body repair shops, Hopkins has grown into a market leader in each of the 6 businesses we operate. Our leadership positions are a reflection of the mission that has guided our company for the past 56 years ... to exceed customer expectations in everything that we do. This goal has not only delivered growth for Hopkins, but growth for our customers as well.
Today Hopkins sells automotive aftermarket products in more than 75,000 distributors and retailers across the globe. One key to our market leading positions is product leadership. To us, product leadership goes beyond the physical product to a deeper understanding of the end-users' needs. By focusing on their user-experience, our product design teams create innovation solutions to real consumer problems ... resulting in products that deliver higher levels of satisfaction ... and products that generate consumer loyalty for the retailers who stock our brands.
Having the right product is a good starting point, but a strong supply chain is crucial to supporting customer needs and growth. Our supply chain is tailored to each product category ... starting with a focus on low-cost country manufacturing, yet balanced by responsiveness to customer requirements. That is why we have a supply chain office in Ningbo, China, world-class manufacturing facilities in Juarez, Mexico and production and distribution sites in Los Angeles, California and Emporia, Kansas.
We also have a team of highly experienced Sales Managers who have the knowledge and resources to tailor programs to support your business. We believe that the diversity of product categories they represent, along with the diversity of retail channels we cover, helps our Sales Managers tailor programs and product offerings that will maximize your sales and return on space.
