The National Sales Manager is responsible for all assigned ORACLE Lighting sales in a given area and for given products and services. It is important that the sales activity is controlled, organized and orchestrated from one desk at the corporate level, and that each sales person has intimate knowledge sales activity as it relates to them.
Responsible to lead and develop the Sales Representative Team and the Sales Support Team.
Maintaining prime knowledge of the products being sold, understanding the market.
Maintaining a contemporary knowledge of the competition in the market place.
Making decisions and taking actions as necessary to keep the CEO, Operations and Scheduling of ORACLE Lighting informed as to what is being sold and ensure that Operations and Installation can meet the demands of sales.
Make every effort to direct sell in to the forecasted product mix, maintaining profitability.
Ensure the timely billing of all jobs.
Ensure the timely collection of all deposits and final payments for all sales.
Outside efforts entail visits to customers, association meetings or vendors which may require travel by air or automobile. These locations are visited throughout the year.
Stay current with competitive activities, including pricing and competitive products.
Seek sources of potential new customers, prepare and make sales presentations to expand the loyal customer base and grow the business.
Ensure that the relationships the company has with existing and potential new accounts are maintained by anticipating the customer’s needs, resolving concerns and complaints providing appropriate support.
Extensive knowledge of the industry in which ORACLE Lighting operates including conventional and new materials, processes, and other specialty methods and materials built, sold and supported by the company.
Ability to work closely with diverse groups of people, including company employees at all levels, customers, vendors, suppliers, and other outside professionals with whom the Company deals with on a regular basis.
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to sell meeting quotas, product mix scenarios and maintaining gross profitability.
Ability to take customer orders, change orders, and field orders in person and on the phone. This person will work a portion of the time in the office, a portion of the time this person will spend at customer sites which may contain equipment and machinery and can be noisy and hazardous.
Additional Salary Information: Bonus - quarterly and annual (achievement of goals)
