We are currently seeking an exceptional Director for the association’s political action committee, ACPAC. This person will be responsible for designing and administering an aggressive campaign to raise money for the association’s political action committee. The position further will be responsible for coordinating political contributions and producing association hosted political events.
The specific duties and responsibilities include:
Develop and implement multi-year fundraising, marketing and communications plan, including strategies, tactics, goals/benchmarks, and budget focused on retaining and increasing contributions from current donors and expanding the number of donors to the PAC.
Coordinate efforts by the association’s “PAC Dog” committee to raise contributions from other Auto Care committees and communities.
Provide regular updates to Auto Care board of directors, committees and community leaders on ACPAC.
Provide frequent communications with PAC contributors regarding ACPAC activities.
Develop presentations for association membership on value of ACPAC to association government affairs effort.
Coordinate efforts by association leadership to raise money for ACPAC.
Work with government affairs staff to coordinate contributions to political action committees as well attendance at fundraisers.
Partner with congressional political finance teams to produce association hosted political events.
Ensure that association is complying with all Federal requirements relative to political action committees.
Produce and file quarterly Federal Election Commission reports.
The successful candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in successfully building and implementing a PAC fundraising program.
Experience in coordinating PAC events
Strong knowledge of PAC compliance requirements.
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must be willing to travel and in some instances, attend evening events.
